After a comprehensive test and evaluation process, the Canadian Armed Forces have chosen OWR GD-6 water-free B/C decontamination agent. GD-6 is a pre-mixed, non-corrosive agent that can be used immediately without preparation. The Canadian Forces are going to use GD-6 with a spray device during operational decontamination missions.

The first batch of canisters was sent to Canada in March 2009.
